We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills and be proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality welds, and maintaining safety standards in the workplace. The MIG Welder will work closely with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
Assemble metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery as required.
Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials and finished products within the facility.
Conduct routine inspections of welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in the fabrication of ductwork and other metal structures as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience of 3-5+ years as a MIG Welder or in a similar welding role.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to welding tasks.
Familiarity with machining processes and the use of calipers for precise measurements.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
Experience with crane operation is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety practices related to welding operations is essential.
