Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of production systems, supply chain management, and process improvement methodologies.

Duties

Manage daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards. Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee product excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes. Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity. Oversee the assembly and production processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Train and mentor staff to foster a high-performance culture. Analyze production metrics and prepare reports for upper management regarding performance and areas for improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong background in food production. Organic chemistry background an assest. Familiarity with quality control practices and methodologies. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred. Knowledge of MRP principles is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in process improvement techniques, particularly Lean manufacturing. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
