Job Title: Production Manager



Reports to: Director of Operations



As a Production Manager, you will be the driving force behind our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will empower teams to achieve their best while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. You'll play a pivotal role in optimizing production schedules, managing resources, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

What you'll do



Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards. Manage press operations and plastic injection molding, ensuring timely completion of production goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and resolve any production challenges. Maintain equipment and machinery, leveraging your mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility. Train and mentor team members on best practices for using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Monitor inventory levels in the warehouse to ensure adequate supplies for uninterrupted production. Authorized to stop shipments and stop production to correct quality problems. In the event that production cannot be stopped immediately, will communicate batch must be fully contained to prevent shipment to customer. Ensure output meets quality standards. Collaborate with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements. Organize workflow to meet specifications and guidelines. Monitor production to resolve issues. Supervise & evaluate performance of Production and Quality inspection personnel. Determine amount of necessary resources (labour, raw material, etc.) Participate in C.I.P. and A.P.Q.P. meetings. Lead 5S strategies. Enforce Health & Safety Precautions. On call 24 Hours if necessary. Responsible for day to day activities.

Deep understanding of Production Management Understanding of Health & Safety and Quality Standards Knowledge of performance evaluation Experience reporting KPI's Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software Budget Management Vast knowledge of lean manufacturing Communication skills Excellent organizational and leadership skills Attention to detail Strong decision making skills and results driven approach Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of assembly processes. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.

Preferred qualifications



Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts. Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.

Minimum of High School Education Required. Post-Secondary Education - preferred.

C) EXPERIENCE



Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.

1.0 WORKING CONDITIONS



Periodic evening or weekend is expected.

2.0 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



Walking for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 15 Kgs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
