Tank Traders is searching for a driven and proactive Production Manager to lead the launch of our

NEW operation, spearheading the ground-up build of our state-of-the-art facility in Nisku, AB.

This role is central to establishing and scaling our brand-new production footprint in the region.

The Production Manager will oversee all production activities, guide daily operations, and play a key role in shaping the future success of our Nisku location.

Day in the life:

Schedule is Monday to Friday; hours are seasonally impacted April-August 80% hands-on involvement working directly with the Production team on the floor 20% administrative duties including payroll, inventory reporting, production planning, recruitment, and continuous improvement initiatives Lead, coach, and develop a team of 12+ individuals Champion company culture and values through visible leadership Maintain optimal inventory levels and operational efficiencies daily Troubleshoot and repair process issues and equipment irregularities Monitor and sustain KPIs in production, quality, and Health & Safety

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a comparable leadership role Hands-on working in a production/manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude. Preventative and routine maintenance experience an asset Effective leadership, communication, and time-management skills Experience operating a forklift or heavy equipment Able to perform physical work, lifting and moving 20-40LBS propane tanks daily
