Job Overview



We are seeking

high-performance, driven, and leadership-oriented Production Managers

to join our 2025 team. This role is ideal for individuals who love working hands-on, enjoy teaching and leading others, and want to build technical, operational, and sales skills that accelerate their career.

As a Production Manager, you will become an expert in one of our two main service lines:

o Residential Painting


o Polymeric Sanding, Sealing, & Surface Restoration



You will learn the technical systems, products, equipment, and best practices for both divisions -- and eventually be responsible for

training, leading, and developing your own crew

, ensuring high-quality results, efficient production, and exceptional client experiences.

This is a full-time, high-responsibility role (40-50+ hours/week in peak season) with strong pay, leadership opportunities, and long-term growth potential into senior operational roles.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical Mastery & Operations



Learn the full system for

Painting

or

Polymeric Sanding & Sealing

Understand products, materials, equipment, troubleshooting, and best practice execution Solve problems on-site quickly and professionally Maintain high-quality standards on all projects Ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently

Move, load, transport, and organize all necessary equipment and materials between sites

Keep materials stocked, equipment serviced, and job sites organized Complete daily production checklists and site documentation

Team Training & Leadership



Train new team members on both service lines Demonstrate proper technique and hold others to quality standards Lead by example on work ethic, communication, and professionalism Manage daily crew workflow, pace, and accountability Keep team morale high during tough, long, or complex projects

Client Communication & Sales



Upsell clients on-site (add-ons, upgrades, maintenance packages) Keep clients updated on project stages and progress Provide solutions, answer questions, and build trust Assist with marketing new neighbourhoods while crews are working Help acquire new clients as part of our spring marketing team Support estimate follow-ups and customer communication

Recruitment, Systems & Leadership Development



Participate in interviewing and recruiting new team members Help determine which crew members you will oversee Support onboarding and technical training Attend leadership meetings and contribute to system improvement Opportunity to develop into a

Senior PM

overseeing multiple crews Winter hours available through recruiting, sales development, and system-building Grow into roles overseeing

all operations

as the team expands

Experience



Experience is helpful but not required -- we train everything.
Strong candidates typically have experience in:

Customer service, retail, athletics, trades, or hands-on work Leading teams, coaching, or mentoring others Managing time, logistics, or responsibilities Sales, communication, or leadership roles Organized, reliable individuals who can handle pressure

Compensation



$25-$40/hour

, depending on experience and responsibility Full-time hours:

40-50+ hours/week

Requirements



Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle able to transport equipment & materials Ability to work full-time, long days, and occasional weekends Strong communication skills Physically capable of labour-intensive work Reliable, organized, and accountable Goal-driven and comfortable taking ownership Positive culture fit: competitive, supportive, motivated Comfortable leading and managing others Willingness to learn new skills, systems, and technical processes
