Production Manager & Estimator - GTA

Job Summary:

Wolfenburg is expanding into the Greater Toronto Area, and we're hiring a versatile and driven Production Manager & Estimator to help us establish our presence in this new market.

This role is foundational--you will be our eyes and ears in Toronto, responsible for both managing project execution and personally handling all estimating duties for commercial and residential flat roofing projects. As the business grows, this dual role will eventually evolve into two distinct positions: a full-time Production Manager and a dedicated Estimator. This gives you the opportunity to grow into a leadership position, help shape our Toronto operations, and build a local team with support from our head office in Ottawa.

If you're ready to take ownership, wear multiple hats, and be a key player in launching a new territory, we want to hear from you.

subcontracted crews

to execute projects. As the business grows, you will be responsible for

.

Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed efficiently, on time, and up to Wolfenburg standards. Take ownership of workforce development by identifying when and how to transition to internal crews. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new team members as they are brought on. Ensure adherence to best practices, safety protocols, and performance expectations. Address any field or personnel issues promptly and professionally. Foster a positive and accountable team culture as the internal crew grows.

6. Client & Stakeholder Communication:

Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and office staff throughout the bidding and project processes. Provide project updates and support decision-making by offering thorough, accurate details.

7. Quality Control:

Inspect job sites regularly to ensure high-quality work and adherence to specifications. Conduct final walkthroughs. Address any customer concerns or issues that arise during the project.

8. Cost Control & Efficiency:

Monitor project costs and productivity to ensure jobs remain within budget. Implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce material waste and labor time.
