PRIMARY FUNCTION

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Production Manager

to lead and oversee all aspects of production operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

JOB DUTIES AND TASKS

Production Oversight:

Plan, organize, and supervise production schedules and workflows to meet company targets and deadlines.

Team Leadership:

Manage and lead production staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians. Provide training, support, and performance evaluations.

Process Optimization:

Identify and implement improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure operations are compliant with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards (Health Canada, FDA, etc.).

Inventory & Supply Coordination:

Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging components.

Equipment Maintenance:

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning safely and efficiently.

Safety Management:

Promote and enforce a safe working environment and adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.

Reporting:

Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular reports on productivity, downtime, yield, and quality metrics.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCEED

Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role, preferably in the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of cGMP, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards. Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
