Job Description

Cadman Power Equipment is located in Courtland, ON. We are a designer, manufacturer and global distributor of irrigation and manure management systems & high-volume fluid transfer solutions within the oil and gas industry; and have been rooted in our community for more than 70 years.

We are currently seeking a Production Manager to join our Cadman Crew, operating on DAY SHIFT, Monday-Friday!



In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations and will report to the CEO.

As the Production Manager, you will lead a skilled and tenured team in a manufacturing environment that values both innovation and tradition. Industry Expertise:

Background in

manufacturing & custom fabrication

is required, with a strong mechanical background of Tool & Die, Millwright or Engineering knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, working collaboratively with our Sales, Purchasing and Engineering teams from sale to raw material procurement and to final product assembly, testing and delivery Oversee all production activities of the manufacturing facilities including Fabrication, Weld, Parts Picking and Paint areas Coordinate timelines with the Purchasing Manager to procure required items for manufacturing Review and Approve new sales orders for scheduling, and manage realistic timelines for the sales orders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve production issues Ensures all required quality and regulatory standards are met Lead (supervise, train, develop) the manufacturing department Monitor plant operations and provide timely reporting (key business information) to the CEO Collaborate with various departments to ensure labor costs are kept within budget and that proper operations are maintained for quality, safety, production and delivery Enforces compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the plant and oversee safety violations and defects in a timely manner Participate in design review and product launch meetings to provide design and manufacturability insight Determine staffing requirements as necessary and work with HR on any personnel-related matters, conduct new hire and annual reviews, and progressive discipline matters Work on yearly goals and objectives that are set by the CEO and CFO

REQUIREMENTS



A minimum of 5-years' experience as a Production Manager or equivalent in a manufacturing environment Strong technical knowledge in production, assemblies, tooling and materials Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related degree considered an asset Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills & professional judgment required to resolve major technical issues Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Safety Insurance Act and their impact on operations
