About the Position
We are seeking a talented and experienced
Manufacturing Supervisor
to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, with expertise in machinery operation, process optimization, and team leadership.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the textile industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations within the textile sector, including knowledge of machinery utilized in textile production.
Experience with textile production methods, materials, and supply chain management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
Skillful with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting and knowledge with ERP - Epicor.
Some analytics skills for cost analysis and process optimization.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CPIM, or PMP are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, production and quality control.
Manage machinery and equipment operation, ensuring uptime, efficiency, and safety.
Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve production issues.
Monitor production metrics and performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards and ensure product integrity.
Provide regular reports and cost analytics to upper management, highlighting key performance metrics, cost-saving opportunities, and recommendations for process optimization.
