Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of production staff within our manufacturing facility. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to manage assembly line operations effectively.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations including production planning and manpower allocation Ensure all critical component related to production are inventoried Ensure that setup technicians complete their daily checklist and update process logs accurately with respect to master set up sheet Manage & approve weekly overtime hours Ensure operations comply with Global Plas' Health & Safety policies and the Occupational Health & Safety Act Identify, report, and rectify unsafe or unusual conditions throughout the plant Ensure strict adherence to PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and corporate safety protocols Supervise, coach, and evaluate production staff Ensure all employees are trained and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Conduct regular audits of production processes and support employee well-being through ongoing team interaction. Monitor and report key manufacturing KPIs Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives throughout the plant Assist in Diagnosing equipment malfunctions, perform or arrange repairs, and support technical resolutions Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and company quality/environmental policies Initiate and verify actions to prevent or correct non-conformities in product, process, or systems Collaborate across departments to drive strategic planning, process enhancements, and capital investment planning Participate in improvement meetings and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks Perform additional duties as assigned by the President

Experience

:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing (preferably automotive) environment Strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills Proven leadership and facilitation abilities across multiple levels of personnel

Skills and Competencies:

Expertise in setting injection molding process parameters Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
