We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The Line Operator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production lines, maintaining quality standards, and assisting in the assembly of products. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Operate and monitor production line machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Assemble components using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
Conduct quality control checks to verify that products meet specifications.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
Utilize CAD software for layout planning and design modifications as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery.
Familiarity with programming equipment is a plus.
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
Experience with quality control processes is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
In good physical shape - Able to lift 50 lbs. +
Must be able to read and understand imperial measuring tape.* Must be able to read and speak English.*
