The Princeton Lumber Division is seeking entry-level Production Laborers. We want individuals who are committed to safety & have a desire to work in a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic.


The starting pay for this position is $32.07 per hour.


Position Duties:

• Must bring a commitment to safety, a positive attitude, and a desire to perform physical work
• Entry-level labor duties may vary to include (but not limited to) shoveling, sweeping, spark watch, equipment operation, manual handling of lumber and debris, etc.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining records, report safety issues, concerns or hazard
• Provide occasional relief coverage for regular operators
• Will be on call to start
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• All applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Uncompromising ability and willingness to follow all safe work practices and procedure
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills
• Well-developed planning and organization abilities
• A willingness to work alternate shift schedules and varying hours
• Ability to work in extreme heat/cold and manually lift
• May be required to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Must be team oriented, and able to work independently as required
• Ability to effectively team with others in a rapid pace work environment
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
