THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an enthusiastic

Greenhouse Production Labourer

to join our fun and energetic Picture Butte Greenhouses team. In this role, you'll support daily production tasks to help us meet our targets while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have some flexibility with hours, as volume changes may require adjustments during peak and non-peak periods. Regular hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work required during peak times, but no Sunday work. We're seeking a reliable, hardworking team player with a "can-do" attitude who enjoys working with a diverse group of team members. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Plant Propagation

: Assist in the propagation of various plant cuttings, ensuring quality and proper handling techniques.

Planting and Spacing

: Carry out planting, spacing, and spiking tasks to ensure optimal growth and spacing within greenhouse rows.

Order Fulfillment and Shipping

: Prepare plants for shipping, including packing and labeling, to meet quality and customer standards.

General Greenhouse Support

: Assist with weeding, pruning and more as needed to maintain plant health and greenhouse upkeep.

Production Line Tasks

: Participate in production line duties, including sorting, quality control, and other tasks as required.

Health and Safety

: Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members.

Cleaning and Maintenance

: Help maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform light equipment maintenance when needed.

: Willing to work longer hours during peak shipping seasons to support team goals.

Previous Greenhouse Experience

: Experience in greenhouse work is a plus, though we're happy to train motivated individuals.

COMPENSATION

The wage range for this position is $15- $17 per hour, depending on your expertise and experience.

In person. Picture Butte, AB T0K 1V0, located about 25 minutes out of Lethbridge. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work required.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
