RESPONSIBILITIES:

Northgate Industries is a Leader in the Modular Building Industry.

We are looking for

EXPERIENCED

FRAMING

AND

INTERIOR FINISHING

LABOURERS.

Under the direction and leadership of the Production Floor Unit Lead Hand, the General Laborer assumes responsibility for all general laborer duties relevant to framing or interior finishing in our constructed modular units. They will ensure work tasks are performed safely in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and company policies and that work is performed with a high level of quality and timeliness.

Following Instruction: Receiving and carrying out instructions from supervisors, tradespeople and other workers. Use hand and power tools. General Maintenance: cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas. Site Preparation: Cleaning up debris and preparing the work area. Ensuring Safety: Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous framing or interior finishing experience Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects. Ability to take direction and follow through on instructions. General construction safety knowledge. Committed dedication to safety; reflected in practice and experience Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently in a demanding environment Ability to work effectively with others in a team setting.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 25kg Wear PPE for entirety of shift

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
