The Opportunity Responsible for providing support to operations by coordinating repair orders from initial customer request, through receiving, inspection, proposal issue, repairs and final shipping/reporting. Liaise with all customers providing timely updates of work in progress. The Role
  • Monitor job statuses and initiate workflows for repair and production orders, conducting follow up to ensure adherence to established timelines and schedules.
  • Enter production demands and orders for customers,
  • Verifying pricing and delivery with suppliers and vendors.
  • Construct and Issue thorough priced repair proposals to the customer with the aid of the Operations team.
  • Follow up with customers on issued proposals, obtain PO and issue Order Confirmations.
  • Source and Purchase required parts and materials for production jobs.
  • Follow up with vendors and subcontractors to ensuring parts and materials are delivered on time.
  • Track and report on all customer orders. Follow up and respond to customer calls especially in regard to job statuses.
  • Coordinate daily with all relevant personnel concerning incoming and outgoing goods, expediting received materials to clients, branches, internal workshops or outsourced contractors as they arrive.
  • Review purchase orders for items required for stock; initiating and completing inventory replenishment requirements.
  • Conduct costing and analysis activities for various projects to support operations in reviewing feasibility, establishing and revising project costs and sourcing various assemblies
  • Issue final repair report.
  • Perform various quality control activities including the development and implementation of quality control guidelines and traceability.
  • Interpretation of P and ID, GA type documents, Customer Specifications and PO\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Promote a culture of safety including strict adherence to Wajax EH&S policies and procedures.

The Candidate Education: CET in Electrical, College Diploma Work Experience: 4-5 years Knowledge: Experience with service order and/or project management. Knowledge of motor overhaul and rewind processes, (electrical and mechanical systems). Other Rotating equipment experience is an asset. Proficiency: MS Office, (Word and Excel), PDF document maker software; Drafting Software, (AutoCad, Solid Works)
