Job Description

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the packaging department supporting the production of high-quality baked products. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Cambridge, ON
Pay Range: $18.70 per hour
Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
What's the Job?

• Responsible for stacking and piling crackers into their correct containers and preparing them for palletization using various equipment.
• Packaging of quality baked products into a variety of packaging formats.
• Visually inspect the flow of product through various stages of the packaging process.
• Perform alternate duties such as sweeping and light equipment cleaning as required.
• Rotate through various packaging workstations on the packaging line.

What's Needed?

• Must be able to follow written and verbal communication.
• Great attention to detail with accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 5-10 lb. boxes and stack them on a pallet.
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
