Primary responsibilities include tofu cutting/forming, frying, drink processing and raw materials handling.
Report any production abnormalities to Production management, such as unsafe working condition, machinery problems, product quality problems or problems with raw materials / supplies.
Teamwork with other employees and leadhands to meet the daily scheduled production volumes.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the production floor and soybean unloading area.
Substitute for other workers during meal break.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent qualification
Related Experience
Experience in working in a food manufacturing plant a definite asset
Experience in working in an assembly line a definite asset
Good verbal and written English language skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Self-starter
Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
Physically fit
Work Conditions
Permanent Full-time position (40 hours per week), available for shift work
Work is performed 100% in production facility
Exposure to noise and a wet temperature varied environment when in the production area
Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs
Required to lift 25 - 50 lbs material
* Wearing of company provided Uniform and other Personal Protective Equipment is required as applicable
