Job Description
Responsibilities:
Be able to identify poor quality products Demonstrate the ability to be flexible in product handling and machine attending, including regrind related responsibilities. Perform required post molding operations and packaging of products Be co-operative and supportive with coworkers Constantly maintain a clean, tidy, organized and safe working area Be responsible for warning or reporting to the Supervisor on failures and malfunctions in equipment and machinery Provide assistance where and when required To handle other assignments as directed by the Shift Supervisor or Lead Hand. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment through compliance to H & S policies. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements:
Must be physically able to fulfill the responsibilities of the job classification through good manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail, including colour distinction Prior experience in plastic manufacturing, such as injection and/or blow molding, is considered an asset Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Good mathematical and organizational skills * Shift flexibility is a requirement with an ability to work continuous (24/5) and/or continental (12 hour shifts / 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights) shifts
