Position Summary

The Production Assistant will provide on-going support throughout the Production process. They will assist in all manner of manufacturing, extraction, fulfillment, and packaging functions.

Job Duties

Assist with extraction duties related to processing of raw material such as packing the extractors, running the extraction machines, daily cleaning and maintenance Assist with packaging duties such as labelling, capping, applying stickers and shipping of product Assist with duties relating to Cannabis 365 Enterprise Resource Planning software such as data collection and labelling batch records Promote & maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area and facility by routinely cleaning and sterilizing equipment, including glassware and tools, components and infrastructure Maintain batch production records in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) Ensure compliance with safe work practices, Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable regulations Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude Promote and encourage teamwork and open communication Communicate production updates and issues to Management on a timely basis Communicate complex issues to Management for immediate resolution Show respect and care for tools, technical equipment, and production facility Work cohesively in a group or independently as required Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Previous experience and knowledge of Cannabis industry production practices is an asset High school diploma Clean criminal record Must be fluent in both spoken and written English Demonstrate necessary comprehension of mathematics Strong attention to detail Team player with a collaborative attitude able to work cohesively in a group or independently as required

Working Conditions

Shift work will be required, which could include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working in a cannabis facility may trigger those with allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to odour PPE Required: Masks, scrubs, gloves, hairnets, and safety shoes

Physical Requirements

Standing and walking for long periods of time Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail The ability to lift approximately 20 pounds The ability to respond quickly to sounds The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
