in our Calgary facility working 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday),

evening shift

THE ROLE





The Production Assistant supports the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products by performing a variety of tasks on the production floor.



This role ensures products are produced in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company quality standards.



DAY-TO-DAY




Assist in the preparation, compounding, packaging, labeling, and production of pharmaceutical products according to approved batch records, SOPs, and cGMP standards. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment under supervision. Set up, clean, and sanitize equipment and production areas in compliance with company procedures and regulatory guidelines. Accurately complete documentation, including logbooks, work orders, and other required records. Transport materials, components, and finished products within the facility. Adhere to all company SOPs, safety protocols, and cGMP regulations, including proper use of PPE. Report equipment malfunctions or process deviations promptly. Support quality assurance and control activities as needed. Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

IDEAL FIT





Education & Experience


High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or pharmaceutical-related education is a plus. Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing environment preferred. Basic understanding of GMP and safety practices in a regulated environment.

Skills and Attributes


Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency with speaking, writing and understanding English. Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25-50 lbs). Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to strict hygiene standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS




On-site

in SE Calgary GMP compliant facility 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday) Evening shift 2:30PM to 11PM Handling of chemicals and hazardous materials (training & PPE provided)
