NutJar is a food manufacturing company based in Delta, BC., producing unique and premium nut butters, spreads, and snacks. Founded in 2020, we have experienced rapid growth and built a sterling reputation for healthy and delicious plant-based foods.

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) Production Assistant who shares our vision to join our growing team, with the potential to advance into new roles and responsibilities as they emerge.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing:

Roasting, mixing, grinding, packaging, and labelling food products. Cleaning production equipment, keeping detailed records, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Order Fulfilment:

Packaging and shipping orders to ensure timely delivery to our customers. Utilise basic math skills to ensure accurate measurements and quantities during production.

Requirements

Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of work experience in a food production facility; A positive, forward-thinking attitude with a willingness to learn new skills; Flexibility in problem-solving and strong attention to detail; Reliability and the ability to work effectively in a team environment; Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness; Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Physical capability to perform repetitive movements and stand for extended periods; Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures; Eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

FoodSafe Level 1.
