Location: Stouffville / Aurora area (relocating to Newmarket-Aurora in Spring 2026)

Hours: Part-time to start, full-time within one month

Pay: $22/hr (commensurate with experience)

We are a growing custom dancewear and performance wear studio seeking an experienced Fabric

Cutter & Production Assistant to join our small, talented team. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role

for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced production environment and understands the unique

requirements of stretch, spandex, and performance fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

- Expert cutting of knits, stretch fabrics, and spandex using scissors and rotary tools

- Interpret and adjust bodywear patterns for dancewear, swimwear, and yoga apparel

- Calculate and manage fabric yields, inventory, and supplies

- Track production materials and assist with ordering fabrics and notions

- Organize workstations and maintain efficient workflow

- Assist in preparing projects for production sewing

- Prioritize multiple deadlines and maintain exceptional accuracy

Requirements

- Extensive experience in fabric cutting and pattern handling (stretch fabrics essential)

- Strong math and measurement skills

- Attention to detail, organization, and time management

- Familiarity with production processes for dancewear, swimwear, or activewear

- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines is an asset, not a requirement

- Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about becoming part of a small, growing company
