We are seeking a dedicated Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will support daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and gain valuable experience.
Warehouse
Unload materials from delivery trucks
Receive merchandise from vendors, check quantities against packing slip and purchase order.
Ensuring part numbers are on each part and checking heat numbers
Put away merchandise into their proper bin location
Record shortages and rejection of damaged goods
Ensure that bin locations are kept up to date
Pack materials for shipping
Shipping materials to customers or other Maxquip locations
Completing daily cycle counts
Entering parts/saw issue logs onto projects in Business Central
Kitting materials for projects from a bill of materials
Credit materials from projects when the project is completed
Keeping warehouse, c-can, building tidy and organized
QC Administrative Support
Creating and updating material receiving logs.
Checking, filing and organizing Mill Test Reports (MTR's) during the receiving process
Maintaining welder logs
Compiling cargo document packages for shop personnel
Compiling QC Packages
Administrative Support
Entering shop personnel daily timesheets (Indirect Spreadsheet and Business Central)
Receiving purchase orders in Business Central
Moving pictures and documents to the proper Job Folder in SharePoint
Helping with safety documents
Maxquip Team Member
Plan and execute other duties as assigned by management
Contribute to and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace
Work to eliminate inappropriate language and gossip in the workplace
Work to increase overall professionalism of Maxquip staff
Keep and maintain confidentiality of all customers and Maxquip business
Help with any special projects as required
Deal with any troubleshooting issues as required
Be familiar with and live the values that are defined by the Maxquip value statements
Continually develop leadership and business skills
Approve, attend, and contribute to community activities when appropriate
Set, maintain, and live high ethical and moral standards
Fill in for all roles when needed with appropriate skills and talents
Support safety practices and initiatives as set by Health and Safety Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$29.06 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
