Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in the paint manufacturing industry . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting production operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assist in the operation of paint small batch production, including weighing and adding of chemicals and following a formula to completion . Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Participate in assembly and testing of finished paint product. Conduct basic math calculations for assembly and formula management. Assist in color-matching and color tinting of base material. Will train less experienced applicants. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during operations.

Skills

Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of paint industry a bonus however not required. Familiarity with water-based paint manufacturing and handling is an asset however not required. Color-matching and tinting experience a huge asset however not required. Must be able to lift 50lbs paint pails and 50lbs bags of non toxic chemicals.
