About us Established in 1995, Sulco Industries Ltd. manufactures and distributes household products to North American retailers. Position summary: We are hiring a production/warehouse associate to join our team! This position is responsible for the shipping and receiving of products. In addition, involves the safe and efficient operation of semi-automatic machinery. Position: Highlights: Part-time/Hourly, Guaranteed 32.5 hours of work/week with available extensions and weekend work. Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 5 pm. Extra hours available if required for production. A) Warehouse Duties
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week Salary: $18.00 per hour Benefits:
- Ability to process orders in accordance with customer specifications
- Pick, pack, and label product in accordance with company standards
- Keep all shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Packing Slips) in an organized manner
- Responsible for unloading and loading pallets from/onto delivery trucks with forklift or hand pump
- Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate by comparing to shipping documents
- Maintaining the overall cleanliness and general housekeeping of the warehouse
- Operation and monitoring of semi-automatic machinery
- Label, pack and wrap the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
- Maintaining an inventory count of finished products and raw material
- Performing quality control inspection for both operational and aesthetic approval
- Collaborating with management to ensure safety and efficiency of operations are upheld
- Performing other duties as required
- Forklift License and Experience (Preferred)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills
- Able to work in a physical role that may include bending, reaching, lifting, and other repetitive motion
- Must be able lift up-to 50lbs
- Experience in manufacturing or as a general labourer is an asset, but not required
- Steel toed-boots are required for this role. Other protective equipment will be provided.
