Job Description

Responsibilities:

Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and issue Production Work Order (PWO) for the manufacturing team to follow. Generating "internal" contractor PO's (linked to Manufacturing Orders) Generating third party PO's (linked to Manufacturing Orders , MO's) for "external" services contractors - alignment, dent repairs, third party damage repairs etc. Assigning raw materials to MO's Inventory management; maintaining minimum inventory levels and reorder Create new items and maintain BoM structure (shared w/engineering department)

Qualifications - Minimum requirements

5 years of experience in production planning and material management in an industrial manufacturing field in Canada. Inventory management experience, cycle counts, min/max levels and re-order. Technical automotive and manufacturing knowledge is a definite asset. Experienced following/tracking production progress through different manufacturing processes. Experience in following BoM information and verifying that all materials consumed have been assigned to MO. MS-Office apps experienced level knowledge Ability to learn and work well with the team works well as a coordinator between departments. Microsoft GP ERP system knowledge is a definite asset, but not essential, we'll provide training, as required.
