Reporting to the Director of Production Planning, this person will be responsible for all Procurement related activities.POSITION SUMMARY:As a Production Analyst, you will work closely with the Production Planning Team. You will ensure that needs are well communicated both verbally and in written documentation so that all parties involved have a solid understanding. Becoming a production analyst means having a positive attitude and an internal drive to be successful. Production analyst will have excellent interpersonal skills and should have the ability to remain calm under stressful situations while performing multiple tasks.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and manage internal transfer process.
• Maintain, track, and control internal stock targets including recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor production schedules which are approaching planned capacity and report to team. opportunities to take more business while keeping the mills on-time.
• Assist with down-stream operations along with identifying improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure best practices and continuous improvement initiatives are followed.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
• Assist with other projects and other analysis as needed (i.e. APO, Cognos/Watson training and reporting).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Manufacturing experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Sound decision making ability, computational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Knowledge of MS-Office with an emphasis on Excel.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Legally eligible for employment in Canada.
