What you'll do
Phase 1: QC & Commissioning (Months 0-3)
Functional testing of generators/heaters/power distribution panels (electrical & mechanical)
Document defects, verify fixes, release to ship; keep test records clean and searchable
Support service queue and keep urgent shop jobs moving
Phase 2: Support & Troubleshooting (Months 3-9)
Tier 1-2 phone/email support (guided scripts ? independent triage)
Build and refine SOPs, test checklists, training decks, and short how-to videos
Join local/virtual trainings; handle standard commissioning tasks
Phase 3: Field Training & Product Success (Months 9-12+)
Travel to customer sites in Canada/US for commissioning & onboarding (seasonal)
Lead toolbox talks and operator trainings; document common issues and fixes
Close the loop with engineering on recurring issues and design-for-service wins

Must-haves
Hands-on tech chops:
Comfortable with hand tools & multimeter; read basic schematics
Mechanically & electrically curious:
Engines, blowers, fuel systems, controls--interested in all
Multimeter, clamp meter, combustion analyzer, torque tools
Onshape/Drawings (to read, not design), our SOPs, ticketing, and QC dashboards
