Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Product Sampling Demonstrator, where you will create brand awareness and boost product purchase through cooking and sampling various food products. Basic cooking skills will be required; de-frosting/cooking frozen foods, mixing ingredients for a protein shake etc.

Responsibilities

Conduct food product demonstrations and sampling sessions to attract customer interest and encourage product trial. Engage with shoppers using compelling communication skills to highlight product features, benefits, and unique selling points. Collect data on customer preferences and feedback. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. Required to work with basic cooking appliances (tabletop grill, toaster oven etc.) Set-up and tear-down the sampling space (table, banner etc.) Engage shoppers by providing freshly cooked product samples Set up and maintain a clean, inviting sampling station

Qualifications

Must have a Food Safety Certification. If you don't have the Food Safety Certification - it can be obtained online at a minimal cost (not reimbursed by Karma Casting). Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable. Food demonstration experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to perform engaging product demos and public speaking with confidence. Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanour to foster positive customer relationships. Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism.
