Leavitt Machinery is looking for a driven
Product Sales Specialist
to join our team in
Edmonton
, Alberta
. As the Product Sales Specialist you will be responsible for the planning and execution of sales and business development in your assigned territory, with a focus on selling industrial cleaning equipment (sweepers and scrubbers). This position will be based out of our Edmonton branch, however; you will spend most of your time meeting with potential clients outside of the office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Product Sales Specialist your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the sales strategy in your assigned territory, including prospecting for new business and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
Conducting on-site equipment demonstrations and presentations
Developing expertise in selling industrial cleaning solutions
Tracking pertinent customer information in CRM
Managing client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
Delivering data-driven, customized, and solution-oriented sales pitches
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing
3 to 5 years of experience in an outside sales role, ideally in a comparable industry (construction, industrial, machinery, or comparable)
Prior experience in industrial cleaning equipment sales a strong asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Excel
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
High motivation and resilience, with the ability to consistently achieve goals while operating both autonomously and as part of a team
Strong organizational and planning skills, negotiation skills, and problem-solving ability
Valid driver's license required
Travel within the territory as needed
