The Specialist, Product Marketing and Strategies ISP (printers, and scanners) supports Canon Canada's product programs and promotions. Reporting to the Supervisor, Product Marketing & Strategies, this role is responsible for conducting market research, collecting and analyzing data to enhance printer market strategies and initiatives such as Auto Replenishment System and ensuring alignment with business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the development and optimization of dynamic reseller, dealer, and retailer programs and promotions for Canon Canada's ISP products--driving category growth and delivering impactful sales results.
  • Analyzing print volumes and market trends to uncover customer usage patterns, then craft strategies that strengthen loyalty to Canon's genuine products.
  • Identifying high-potential verticals and applications for ISP products and solutions, and designing innovative subscription programs that elevate Canon Canada's market position and boost sales performance.
  • Creating and optimizing promotional strategies for the Automatic Replenishment Program--tracking results, spotting growth opportunities, and driving customer engagement to boost enrollment and retention.
  • Providing Amazon promotion support and analyzing performance in coordination with internal marketing teams and external vendors.
  • Measuring the success/failure of the Canon Canada ISP product launches, by assessing sales performance and proposing corrective sales and marketing actions when necessary.
  • Generating reports for product categories for Canon Canada's ISP product lines and disseminating information to Canon Japan, and Canon USA.
  • Creating presentations and other tools to communicate Canon Canada's ISP product lineup, propositions, and strategies to the dealers and distributors.
To Succeed, You Will Have:
  • Post-Secondary education in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in Consumer Electronics
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills to balance multiple priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Strong analytical skills to apply data-driven insights and creative strategies to develop business growth opportunities.
  • Intermediate project and process management skills to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong Excel skills Excel skills, including pivot tables and basic formulas like VLOOKUP and PowerPoint to create clear impactful presentations.
  • Basic equipment operation skills to use Canon product offerings.
