We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Product Marketing Specialist who is excited to educate our customers, prospects, and learners, and to tell stories of our customers who have succeeded through a blog post, email, infographic, video or social media post. You might have a qualification in journalism or creative writing background, but what you will have is the ability to show audiences how we take thorny data and integration challenges in aviation, cities and towns, and buildings and campuses and turn them into working solutions that power real change. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be a friendly, driven self-starter who can work autonomously \xe2\x80\x93 we won\xe2\x80\x99t be looking over your shoulder and we\xe2\x80\x99ll trust you to get your work done on time.
Responsibilities

  • Present ideas and final deliverables to executive teams, communicate and strategize about marketing programs and budgets with senior leadership;
  • Act as point of communication for marketing and advertising ideas, from team members and relay concerns or roadblocks from marketing coordinators;
  • Working with the creative team, guide creative direction to meet objectives for marketing goals;
  • Provide or coordinate the creation of graphic and video content;
  • Manage our web and social media presence;
  • Create and hold team members accountable to meeting a content calendar and content creation schedule;
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase conversions, and generate more qualified leads;
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly;
  • Write and edit copy as necessary; and,
  • Other marketing and market data analysis duties as they are identified.

This position requires the following certifications or combinations:
  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field; OR
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Certifications in HubSpot marketing tools or data-driven marketing are highly desirable

Required skills and abilities:
  • Able to convey complex technical information in an accessible, interesting way
  • Must be comfortable working remotely
  • Experience working with robust CMS tools, including email management systems and social media scheduling tools
  • Experience with basic graphic design a plus
  • Must be organized and work well in a team setting. Be open to feedback from others and give honest non-judgmental feedback to others
  • Professional, precise communication skills

Total Compensation:
  • Base Salary: dependent on your experience, ranges from $75,000 - $100,000
  • Formal Training: $2,000 per year
  • Health Insurance: Extended health insurance, including alternative healthcare and dental, and anonymous mental health support for you and your family
  • Formal Training: $2,000 per year
