The Product Marketing Specialist will report to the Product Marketing Manager and be responsible for developing and executing strategic launch and lifecycle management action plans for Canon Canada's complete line of B2B Print Products. The position will conduct data analysis of key product portfolios, the organization, and the broader industry to make relevant recommendations in action plans. Key Responsibilities:
Developing and executing strategic product launch plans for B2B Print Products in collaboration with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Business Planning teams--covering positioning, launch events, promotions, and service approvals.
Supporting Sales Enablement by generating sales ideas, analyzing performance data, mapping account strategies, and optimizing quarterly promotions.
Partnering with Sales and Service to evaluate sales processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements with key internal stakeholders.
Collaborating with Sales, Service, and Marketing to plan sales campaigns (defining audience, messaging, channels, and timelines), and recommending impactful communication tools like presentations, print samples, and digital assets.
Monitoring sales data and KPIs to assess product line performance and identify strengths and improvement areas.
Identifying growth opportunities and collaborating across departments to recommend and support the execution of strategic programs and initiatives.
Contributing to KPI development, monitoring performance metrics, and preparing executive-level reports for the B2B Print Products portfolio.
Liaising with Canon sales affiliates and industry organizations to gather market intelligence and staying current on product trends.
To Succeed, You Will Have
Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and synthesize insights from multiple data sources
Effective time management and multitasking abilities to handle competing priorities and projects
Solid project and process management skills to support strategic planning and execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data filtering
Familiarity with Canon B2B Print Products is considered an advantage.
Bilingual proficiency in French is an asset.
