Responsibilities
  • Lead new product initiatives and improvements from ideation to launch for our Ooma Enterprise UCaaS platform, supporting integrations, MS Teams Direct Routing, and CRMs
  • Own product development including product strategy and roadmap implementation
  • Drive the communication and coordination requirements to the business, design and development teams
  • Identify customer requirements, build customer flows and user interface (with the User Experience designer), prioritize engineering roadmap and launch new products and features
  • Contribute to the overall product roadmap, managing prioritization and tradeoffs against development complexity, customer experience, time to market
  • Create buy-in for the product vision, both internally and with key external partners
  • Establish business processes and policies as well as metrics and success indicators
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales and marketing to communicate and deliver on the product roadmap.
  • Understand how our products fit into Ooma\xe2\x80\x99s product portfolio and compare to our competitors.
  • Current on industry developments, trends and opportunities for user growth and experience

Requirements
  • 3-5 years Product Management experience in Telecom, VoIP, Call Centers and/or Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS) a must
  • Experience leading cross-functional discussions to execute on product features and delivering results
  • Proven experience delivering products and services in a high growth environment
  • Tract record of contributing to engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Proven track record of successful product ownership and multiple products and feature launches simultaneously
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and drive actions.
  • Strengths in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, time management, multi-tasking
  • Post-secondary degree in technical field is preferred
