In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Solutions, Design and your fellow product leaders to steward the creation and deployment of innovative product solutions. This role is a hybrid position requiring you to be on-site in our Yonge-Dundas Square Office three times a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).




Key Responsibilities:




Ownership of Product Line/Solution

: Take charge of a product line and/or, driving its development from conceptualization to customer release and beyond. Execute on high value initiatives while dealing with complexity and competing priorities.

Strategic Planning

: Help define the product vision and strategy, translating that vision into a clear roadmap to drive growth. Align the product roadmap with business goals, focusing on delivering value to our customers and achieving Go-To-Market (GTM) objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration

: Work closely with engineering, solutions and product design to create the best Fintech solutions in the market.

Product Marketing & GTM Activities

: Work closely with our Growth team to develop product positioning, packaging and delivery of specific features and solutions to market.

Product Enhancement and Fixes

: Leveraging continuous customer discovery methods, identify areas for improvement and address customer feedback by implementing product enhancements and fixes to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Team Leadership

: Support the development and leadership of a dynamic product discipline, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence to handle the increased capacity of work effectively.

Must-Have Qualifications:




Experience in Digital Product Management:

4+ years of experience in digital product and/or design function with a proven track record of working as a Product Owner or Product Manager, demonstrating your ability to drive product initiatives through the product lifecycle from concept to design to development to release of software.

Strategic Vision and Execution:

Expertise in aligning business objectives with product goals and executing on product initiatives autonomously. You should be adept at taking ownership of initiatives, driving them forward, and delivering results that align with overarching business strategies.

Technical Acumen:

Understanding of technology and how engineering teams operate is crucial. You should be familiar with the inputs required from design to engineering and possess the skills to manage the collaboration effectively.

Product Marketing:

Expertise in the downstream phases of the product lifecycle, involving product positioning, packaging, product marketing content development and support of GTM activities.

Finance Sector Background:

Prior experience in the financial sector is necessary to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.

Design Background:

Experience or background in product and/or UX design would be advantageous, enabling you to contribute to the creative and user-centric aspects of product development.

Start-up Experience:

Previous experience working at banks or start-up/scale-up companies would be beneficial, providing insights into diverse operational environments and agile approaches to product development.

Effective Communication:

Experience presenting complex subject matter and facilitating collaboration or workshops with diverse team members demonstrates your ability to communicate effectively and foster teamwork.
