ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Distributel Product Management Team is seeking a Product Manager for Residential Services. This position would be responsible for the overall management and growth of assigned Residential products. This person would be determining and driving the product roadmaps that will involve significant collaboration with our engineering and various cross-functional groups. The ideal candidate will have proven experience building products from the ground up, negotiating internally and externally and delivering on both the strategic and tactical metrics for the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, develop, and deploy new products for the consumer business, driving customer adoption, revenue and profitability growth.
• Manage overall product strategy and roadmap for assigned products.
• Manage the Wi-Fi product technology evolution.
• Manage the overall customer experience by validating the purchase and sales flow, manage content for collateral, website, and advertising for assigned products.
• Manage competitive pricing, profitability, cost analysis and business cases \xe2\x80\x93 providing ongoing reporting and analytics to guide strategic decisions for assigned products.
• Define product strategy and roadmap to execute new product introductions, enhancements, and process improvements across various internal teams.
• Work closely with marketing communications to effectively promote and position products.
• Assist with the creation of all marketing collateral including a wide range of internal and external content such as product data sheets, manuals, sales scripts, and FAQs.
• Understanding the latest digital tools and strategies generating product interest from consumers.
• Challenge current assumptions and identify value added strategies going forward.
• Act as a change agent as needed to continually strive for excellence as compared to peers within the industry.
• Remain current on customer needs, competitive activities, emerging trends etc \xe2\x80\x93 utilize this knowledge to develop effective strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Hours of work: Usual business hours.
• Work in the office and remote.
• Office environment.
• Some travel may be required.
• Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and timelines.

TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY USED

• Microsoft Office- Advanced knowledge.

CREDENTIALS:

• University degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience with at least 5-7 years of product management experience.
• Ideally experience with knowledge in IPTV and Telecommunications technologies.
• 5+ years product management experience having designed, sourced, developed and launched various products driving new revenue lines.
• Extensive Product, Pricing and P&L experience.
• Data analytics experience using a variety of tools and techniques.
• Profit & Loss experience - budgeting/forecasting.
• Telecommunications experience an asset.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English for effective business correspondence with internal as well as external contacts.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience building and managing technology products, ideally in the Telecom industry.
• Compelling communicator, persuasive leader, and big-picture thinker
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal influence and ability to cross-functionally manage the organization.
• Experience preparing and communicating marketing plans to senior management teams; confidently communicate the value of your strategic plans and how they will be measured.

• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills including the ability to convey information to a wide variety of internal and external audiences,
• Experience developing business cases, P+L management, margin, and cash flow analysis.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
