Job Statement




We're hiring a Product Manager System AV/IT to join our Supplier Management Team.


As a Product Manager you will have the unique opportunity to develop growth strategies to support our suppliers' brand portfolio. Effectively ensure the brand's short-term and long-term financial objectives are met. Your entrepreneurial spirit will help identify white spaces in the System AV/IT category and work alongside the marketing as well as the sales team to implement programs to capitalize on those opportunities. You'll be accountable for the supplier relationship, being the voice of your market to all stakeholders and managing the product selection, pricing, channel and help with marketing strategies through its lifecycle. This is an individual contributor role with plenty of opportunities for you continued learning and development

Responsibilities



Managing a portfolio of brands Establishing and maintaining a relationship with the supplier Serving as an advocate for the needs and expectations of our suppliers within the organization and as an advocate of the needs of the organization to our suppliers Equipping the Sales and Marketing Departments with the necessary tools and expertise--such as promotional materials, product training, campaigns, and events--to effectively market and sell products Proving ability to identify opportunities and recommending actions that move the business forward Serving as the brand ambassador and market expert in product applications, competitive landscape, and industry trends Analyzing product performance to identify slow-moving items and preparing liquidation lists to optimize inventory turnover Partnering with the Sales team to manage and process registrations through the Brand Portal In conjunction with accounting, ensuring claims are reconciled at the end of the month or quarter Conducting the strategic, tactical, and coordination activities necessary to the brand's success (as defined below)

Qualifications



University Degree required, with some core marketing experience Experience with Video Conferencing products is an asset An understanding of the Pro AV Integration market 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Proficiency in Salesforce, JD Edwards and Business Intelligence reporting, an asset Sharp business acumen Strong presentation skills Strong market research and analytical skills Ability to take the initiative, think critically, be innovative, and solve problems Team player Excellent time management and organizational skills
