Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the national marketing plan for the identified World Wide platforms within the BD Interventional (BDI) business.

The role is responsible for the development and implementation of a consistent and integrated marketing and sales strategy for the portfolio of products in order to meet established sales and category share targets. The role will work as part of a cross functional and collaborative team that is responsible for developing a marketing strategy and value proposition that drives customer interest, lead generation, lead conversion, customer loyalty and retention.

Responsibilities

The Product Manager will have the following responsibilities:

Own financial budgets and projections for platform revenue performance and profitability supported by market trends

Support global business reviews with data driven analysis

Drive strategic fact-based market planning activities and tactical implementation to accelerate growth for the platform

Develop a strategic product lifecycle management plan for products in the portfolio

Plan and execute market research, product launch activities, conferences and marketing campaigns to ensure effective and rapid customer adoption of BD technology

Develop and manage market communication plans and sales tools

Participate as a member of the worldwide Surgery marketing team to ensure that regional customer and market requirements are met for product development and global marketing plan execution

Partner with the sales team for commercial activities such as customer site visits and/or technical presentations

Support and participate in GPO planning and responsible for RFP responses

Be the local subject matter expert on products within portfolio

Qualifications:

A post graduate educated to Degree Level (or equivalent), MBA an asset

3 years of experience in Medical Device Marketing in acute care setting

Bilingual in French/English is an asset

Highly-motivated, execution-focused leader with the ability to self-define role and activities necessary for successful product commercialization and integration into BD.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong and effective communication skills.

Excellent command of information/data and the ability to drive decisions.

Organized and proactive with demonstrated ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Advanced verbal, written and presentation/communications skills.

Up to 30% travel required, may include nights and some weekends

Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Marketo etc.)
