Summary The role is accountable for the achievement of key marketing functional goals at a product line level; influences the development and drives the execution of functional or product line plans. Decisions or recommendations impact sales and/or expense budget performance and will manage a formal marketing expense budget driving top line sales performance. Influences within work area/ department/ function; provides significant input into product line-related business decisions and resource planning; plays critical role in key projects/ initiatives, often leading project/ initiative teams. Demonstrates marketing expertise through specific and advanced set of skills and knowledge, e.g. branding, product development, forecasting.

Responsibilities:

Manages all aspects of product marketing plans for assigned product portfolio(s) to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies, including market sensing and marketing/portfolio mix.

Manages drivers of demand for assigned product line(s) such as pricing strategy, channel strategy, contracting, and product mix.

Financial planning/forecasting, demand planning, and RFP/Contract management

Work with the global platform marketing team

Lead development of selling tools to support execution of portfolio

Collaborate and align with the world-wide business on platform strategies

Contribute to the development of the Annual Strategic Review process for the platform

Act as the main knowledge leader with respects to competitive activities, initiatives, and partnerships to ensure proactive market awareness and action

Sales support as required to meet customer needs

Organization and execution of National Conferences and Events

Skills and Competencies

Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset.

Strong financial and business insight.

Collaborative teammate with excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Demonstrated leadership, creativity and vision.

Ability to interact effectively with all management levels

Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize under tight deadlines.

Experience in identifying Market Opportunities, Market Segmentation, Targeted Marketing, Competitive Analysis, Pricing Strategy and Go to Market models and strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of marketing (healthcare industry beneficial). Medical device industry an asset, experience may also include sales, sales training, business development.
