Manulife is looking for a vibrant, knowledgeable and experienced Product Manager, Pharmacy Benefits who is has relevant experience with Group Benefits and/or the pharmaceutical ecosystem. Reporting to the Director Product, Pharmacy Benefits, this position will play a crucial role in developing, enhancing and managing our Pharmacy Benefits products and services. Key Accountabilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape within the Pharmacy Benefits industry.
  • Product Development: Lead key product projects from inception to launch \xe2\x80\x93 executing the product projects and initiatives to meet business plan objectives and ensuring the delivery of innovative and market-leading Pharmacy Benefits solutions.
  • Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with multiple internal key stakeholders from across Marketing, Pricing, Underwriting, and Distribution to ensure that the value proposition of the product is well articulated for our customers
  • Customer Focus: Work closely with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback and integrate insights into the product development processes.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze product performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Leadership: Collaborate and influence across teams and boundaries, utilizing contacts to build and strengthen teamwork, performance and efficiencies.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies):
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field; MBA would be an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in group benefits and/or the pharmaceutical ecosystem, such as Product Manager, Pharmacist, Pharmacy consulting, Pharma market access
  • Strong Group/Pharmacy Benefits knowledge, including Manulife\'s current Pharmacy Benefits product offering
  • Be on the forefront of Canadian Group Benefits industry trends (current and future) and identifying areas of opportunity
  • Understanding of the changing landscape of healthcare and advances in medical/pharmaceutical technology and the impact this has on health outcomes.
  • Ability to develop and articulate a product strategy which includes research, business casing, product development, execution and measurement
  • Demonstrated success in project management
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to work across a complex environment \xe2\x80\x93 both internally and externally to lead teams with multiple mandates and differing value drivers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location Toronto, Ontario

Salary range is expected to be between $82,500.00 CAD - $148,500.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
