Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.Description:Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Operations Analytics, this role is responsible for driving the direction of franchisee and in-restaurant mobile and web tools that surface tactical information to Tim Hortons franchisees and their restaurant management teams to drive excellent operations every day. You will be responsible for owning the roadmap and setting the future vision for a product that sets us apart from other franchised businesses in providing unparalleled operations and profitability support through easy-to-understand analytics, gamified benchmarking, and actionable insights.This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including: operations standards, restaurant tech, field, product engineering, data, and communication teams to define product vision, strategy, ROI/impact, roadmaps, requirements and product roll-out. Additionally, as part of the Operations Analytics team, your role is to become an expert in understanding how operations drive performance at Tim Hortons.Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate product vision, features, strategy, roadmap, and value proposition to stakeholders.
  • Conduct franchisee, in-restaurant team member, and field team member interviews to identify needs, pain points, and opportunities for new and existing products.
  • Write clear and detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create user-friendly and engaging UI/UX.
  • Coordinate and help manage product development timelines from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and quality delivery of products.
  • Analyze and report on product performance, user feedback, and market trends, using data and metrics (DAU, MAU, timeliness of data, fall-out, ROI, etc.) to inform product decisions and improvements.
  • Ownership of stakeholder communications, product testing/QA, and training materials.
  • Continuously research and evaluate the competitive landscape and industry best practices to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Passion for the Tim Hortons brand and a strong desire to help drive restaurant operations forward.
  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience developing and launching analytics and insights-related products
  • Experience with creating and executing on QA testing plans
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive product outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with QSR or a franchisee business model is an asset
  • Experience with SQL, reporting and automation is an asset
