Purpose Across diverse lines of business and product strategies, Tangerine provides loyalty for all products. Further, the position will oversee the technological implementation of Tangerine\'s rewards program. As part of this role, you will collaborate with partners within Tangerine and Scotiabank to deliver effective product integration strategies. These strategies will help enhance portfolios, collaborate with partners, and promote Tangerine\'s products. Tangerine believes in delivering award-winning client service and improving the lives of Canadians. An integral part of the Product Manager\'s job will be to optimize and maintain the performance of the Tangerine credit card banking system. It is the responsibility of the Product Manager to adhere to strict deadlines, and to identify, design and implement steps for strengthening the performance and success of the credit card banking system while maintaining and upholding credible business relationships with a variety of clients and departments within the company. In addition, the Product Manager will develop upcoming innovations, expand into expanding markets and increase sales and profitability in a sustained manner strategically working with a powerful team. Roles and Responsibilities
  • In order to advance loyalty programs across all business lines and increase performance, the product lead for loyalty collaborates with both internal and external collaborators.
  • Formulate a framework, stakeholders model, and multiyear strategies for the Net New Customer commitment project with Product Analytics, Scotiabank Retail Products, and SCENE, including monthly progress reports.
  • Establish the most effective "earn and burn" alternatives and product mix by integrating rewards currency, structures, economics, and benefits into NPD discussions. Tangerine\'s product strategy for integrating new product lines into incentives platforms, business prospects, and product lines.
  • Ensure that your rewards program is in line with the products you sell.
  • Developing a deeply integrated advertising and communication strategy to boost product loyalty programs with the purpose to benefit consumers as well as shareholders by cooperating with Tangerine marketing and SCENE marketing.
  • Business reviews with Retail Goods on loyalty KPI performance for programs and marketing activities.
  • Managing all repricing initiatives, including industry benchmarking, review, and suggestions for loyalty rewards.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise for all loyalty and reward conditions of employment; collaborate with legal, product, and privacy teams.
  • Assist with partnership onboarding when necessary by working with the Loyalty Development team.
  • Strengthens client relationships and utilizes larger Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge by maintaining a client-centric mindset.
  • Always stay up-to-date on both internal and external trends (internal and external) in order to stay competitive. Report your results and future outlook/projections to Senior Management. Contribute to the preparation of business cases and make suggestions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree required MBA or a relevant graduate degree is an asset
  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in loyalty, engagement, operations, customer experience, product strategy, and rewards management for credit cards/travel rewards cards
  • A minimum of 3+ years\' experience leading projects in financial services environments; project management training or experience is an asset
  • Having the ability to work in cross-functional teams on initiatives and projects of different scopes and durations
  • Managing a multifaceted global organization with determination, personal creativity, drive, and conviction to secure resources, information, and consensus
  • Previous experience managing credit card/travel rewards programs, loyalty programs, and engagement strategies.
  • An ability to leverage data insights to make informed business decisions based on strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing partnerships, collaborations, and relationships
  • Excellent planning and reporting skills and excellent analyzing data with business casing oversight knowledge
  • Strong channel and stakeholder management knowledge Practiced relationship-building and negotiations abilities
  • An effective team leader, mentor, and motivator
  • A great team player that collaborates effectively with other people and has an inherent collaborative mindset; a partnership and group player.
  • Provides an overview view; understands how all the components fit together and support the achievement of larger company goals.
