This is an opportunity to join the Card and Payment Solutions team at National Bank as a Credit Card Product Manager. Our team is part of a burgeoning sector that has a direct impact on client engagement and the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s results. We are responsible for managing a credit card portfolio for Personal and Commercial Banking clients. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Product Construct, Acquisition and Lifecycle \xe2\x80\x93 Consumer and Business Credit Cards. Your daily challenges:
  • Be the lead responsible for establishing a strategic plan and coordinating the implementation of an initiative plan for the lifecycle lever
  • Be responsible for the full performance analysis of our current portfolio by focusing on the lifecycle (OKRs, levers, performance, opportunities, budget)
  • Understand profitability and target vectors, identify opportunities for profitable portfolio growth, stimulate client engagement
  • Develop, support, recommend, and implement business orientations for managing the lifecycle (purchase volume and cash advances, profitable balances and interest income, product changes, limit management, loyalty program engagement, etc.) for all card clients in order to increase both client NPS and portfolio profitability
  • Have a strong understanding of market trends and consumers\xe2\x80\x99 changing needs
  • Evaluate the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s competitive positioning as regards client engagement and lifecycle activities, make growth rate projections for products, and recommend strategies for profitable portfolio growth
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with risk strategies, implementation strategies, marketing strategies, and business strategies

Competencies required:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience OR master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in a product management environment
  • Experience managing stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of business marketing strategies supporting client acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Ability to influence
Preferred competencies:
  • Experience with promotional offers
  • Experience in budget management
  • Solid knowledge of the credit card industry
