About the Role:

We are looking for a product manager to help us enhance our platform and deliver an outstanding experience for our clinical and hospital users; our applications are primarily used by teams in hospital ORs and procedure rooms.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with customers and the team to define, manage and execute our product roadmap; this includes improving existing functionality as well as defining new platform features.

As the champion of the clinical team experience, you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a critical role in helping the Agile scrum team understand new features and work to focus their efforts on adding value through continuous delivery.

What you will do:
  • Understand the clinical teams by conducting user interviews, leveraging market research, reviewing competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities to improve the user experience
  • Help lead Agile ceremonies: this includes daily stand-ups and retrospectives as well as managing the backlog to ensure issues are prioritised and user stories are ready
  • Scope features and enhancements: Collaborate with Engineering to understand effort, non-functional requirements, and dependencies. Write and present user stories and business cases as needed. Work with the UX team on designs and deliverables.
  • Establish release plans \xe2\x80\x93 Identify priorities for each sprint. Schedule releases. Provide timely updates to stakeholders on the plan.
  • Define \xe2\x80\x98done\xe2\x80\x99- make sure the work is \xe2\x80\x98whole and complete\xe2\x80\x99 from an end-user perspective and meets the needs of internal stakeholders
  • Develop and socialize the roadmap - Collaborate with the internal team to consistently review and refine the app vision and roadmap. Lead planning activities with business and stakeholders to maintain a groomed and prioritized backlog.
What you bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • You are familiar with Agile methodologies
  • You have experience in elaborating a vision into clear business requirements and user stories, as well as the ability to sequence the work to maximize value for users
  • You are detail-oriented and understand the value of prioritization, so handling multiple priorities (and sometimes saying no!) in a fast-paced environment is a snap
  • You are driven by the idea of building relationships with stakeholders and inspiring confidence within your team
  • You take pride in managing a product, and are ready roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • You are comfortable interacting with stakeholders of all levels.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Experience in healthcare isn\xe2\x80\x99t essential, but it\xe2\x80\x99s a big plus
