About the Role:

We are seeking a full-time Product Manager to join our growing products team.



Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Products, the Product Manager's primary responsibility is to support the SatCom product portfolio, including Iridium-connected devices, airtime plans, and satellite beacon/buoy products. You'll also provide product support across our Defence and IoT lines of business, contribute to documentation and training efforts, and assist with government funding applications.



This role is ideal for someone with a technical background and a passion for satellite communications. It is an on-site role based at our head office in Dartmouth, NS, offering close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support the management of MetOcean's SatCom product portfolio, including roadmaps, requirements, and lifecycle planning. Assist with product documentation, content reviews, and internal communications. Conduct product demonstrations and provide training for clients and internal teams. Maintain demo equipment and manage product samples for customer engagement. Provide technical support to Sales during pre-sales engagements. Identify and assist in applying for government innovation funding (e.g., IRAP). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment and delivery across SatCom, Defence, and IoT solutions. Conduct light market and competitive research to support roadmap planning. Perform other tasks as required.

Technical and Non-Technical Skills:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Familiarity with satellite communication systems, devices, and Iridium airtime plans considered a strong asset. Familiarity with Iridium satellite airtime plans considered an asset.

Education and Experience:

Technical degree or equivalent experience. 1-3 years in a technical, product management, or product support role. Experience delivering technical training to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with environmental beacons/buoys and government funding programs (e.g., IRAP) considered an asset. Product Management training or certifications considered an asset.
