The Product Lead is responsible for the oversight, planning and overall execution of the successful launch of Calian\xe2\x80\x99s Nexi product suite, from ideation to implementation. The Product Lead gathers customer requirements and works closely with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project timelines. The Product Lead contributes to and executes against the product vision, pricing plans and go-to-market positioning strategies. The Product Lead provides managerial support and operational oversight to the Customer Success Team, who is responsible for the onboarding, training and product support for Nexi customers. The Product Lead may also fulfill technical writing responsibilities to develop technical and end-user documentation for the Nexi product suite.
Accountabilities

  • Act as a product evangelist to build buy-in, awareness and understanding with both internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Perform customer interviews and market assessments to develop a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and solve for product gaps and contribute to the overall vision of the product.
  • Work with the Software Development department, translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
  • Liaise with executive team to make decisions for product activities and set strategic goals.
  • Liaise with the Sales and Marketing team to identify new business opportunities; contribute to business development by promoting Nexi\xe2\x80\x99s services and responding to RFPs.
  • Develop customer-specific contracts and manage setup and implementation of these contracts.
  • Plan & manage the product development roadmap, including the oversight and alignment with the allocated budget for product development.
  • Execute against product launches, including working with marketing, sales & business development, executives, software development and other product management team members.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
  • Supervise staff from Product team and provide constructive feedback, including participation in Performance Reviews
  • Allocate resources to product design sprints, including the prioritization of product features.
  • Input on the pricing & revenue modeling and go-to-market positioning strategies.
  • Provide managerial and operational oversight to the Customer Success team.
  • May be required to develop technical documentation.
  • Fulfil other duties as required.

Working Conditions and / or Job Requirements:
  • Must possess mobility to work in an office environment and use standard office equipment, including a computer (finite movements such as typing), telephoning and other office functions.
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings, to support frequent local and regional/national travel to client sites or tradeshows for presentations, meetings and visits.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Requires mental stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of time, including weekend or overnight, and to work extended hours to support operations requirements.
