What Youll Be Doing

As a Consultant for the Product Integration Team, you will manage and implement complex cash management solutions using advanced project management methodology to ensure products and services are delivered in a coordinated and professional manner. You will be accountable to perform pre and after sales support. You will also promote the utilization of the recommended cash management products to maximize the banks return and will manage and develop relationships with customers throughout the implementation process to maximize cross-selling opportunities. You will also manage any maintenance requests associated with any complex products or solutions.

You will be an integral component of Commercial Banking and part of a team of specialized professionals who create value for commercial clients by understanding their transaction and cash management needs with a view to architecting and delivering integrated cash flow and treasury management solutions.

How Youll Succeed

  • Client Service - Implement and manage complex cash management solutions by understanding the customers business and liaising with the various key stakeholders to address customer needs. Ensure quality service to meet customer requirements and seek to maximize banks return by maintaining high service levels and initiating improvements on an on-going basis.
  • Implementation & Transitioning - Manage implementation progress, including any solution customizations, by working directly, and in collaboration, with the customer and all required internal stakeholders (i.e. legal/compliance, product, technical support etc.). Utilize project management methodology by identifying all roles and responsibilities as well as governing accountabilities while managing critical paths to coordinate/manage the implementation project from end-to-end.
  • Product Support - Provide input into the assessment of new products and participate in the review of existing products for input into on-going enhancements. Review and provide input on product documentation and fulfillment guides, external procedure manuals, as well as product/service legal agreements and set-up forms. Participate in new product or new product feature launches to provide feedback on features, functionalities and documentation to help enhance marketability.
  • Business Development - Ensure a thorough understanding of the customers business to help identify cross-selling opportunities. Identify, through the analysis process and client dealings, other potential sales and/or service improvement opportunities and refer potential sales to appropriate client relationship/cash management sales managers. Contribute to the business units goal of continuous improvement by identifying areas to enhance the client experience or resolve challenges.
Who You Are
  • Experience you bring. You have a minimum of 5 years proven and progressive business and operations experience, or equivalent including a minimum of 3 years proven and progressive cash management business solutions experience or equivalent. You have an advanced understanding of cash management and commercial business, and experience in working with large commercial and corporate entities.
  • You have strong communication skills in both English and French. You have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, to build and maintain effective working relationships with partners, peers and clients, and to convey factual and conceptual information to others.
  • You have strong technical skills. You have strong project management skills, including self-management skills in order to respond to shifting priorities on several simultaneous projects as required. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills. You have strong facilitation, presentation, negotiation and time management skills.
