Product Innovation Manager

Job Description



The Product Innovation Manager will be responsible for developing system-wide solutions, leading technological change initiatives, and developing platforms to support our cutting-edge strategies. The PIM will have three main portfolios: develop initiatives to optimize member experiences throughout our franchise system, transform our corporate processes in preparation for global expansion, and lead the development of software solutions. The ideal candidate would have a background in computer science or engineering, experience in leading software and solutions delivery, and support for the full product cycle.

System Initiatives- HomeLife has always strived to meet member needs by using the latest technologies. The PIM is responsible for proactively addressing evolving member needs by ensuring that HomeLife\'s offerings are up to date with technological developments in the industry. The ideal candidate would have experience in leading technological change across large organizations, keeping up to date with new solutions that can be utilized to help members, and securing stakeholder buy-in for new tools and solutions.

Global Expansion- HomeLife\xe2\x80\x99s corporate processes are based on tried and true methods of management and administration. In anticipation of aggressive global expansion, we are looking to transform our processes with a focus on large-scale management across vast geographical regions while maintaining efficiency, accountability, and security. The ideal candidate would have experience in analyzing and understanding existing processes, creating new processes based on corporate needs, and implementing a seamless migration.

Product Development- HomeLife\xe2\x80\x99s global expansion plans recognize the potential for vast increases in efficiencies by adopting cutting-edge technologies relevant to our industry. The PIM is responsible for coordinating with vendors to ensure that the products delivered are aligned with our requirements and business performance objectives, and to create in-house teams for further agile development, maintenance, and support, based on our needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar field
  • Demonstrated technological and business acumen
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of current IT best practices, project planning, and business process management
  • Experience designing software solutions for efficiency, scalability, and reliability
  • Experience with full-stack development is strongly preferred
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and influence with a variety of personality types
  • Executive-level interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent partnership and vendor management skills
  • Proven ability to establish and grow strong partnerships with stakeholders inside and outside of an organization.
  • Resourceful with a "can do" personality
  • Strong self-starter who can self-prioritize, take the initiative, identify new opportunities, and have the drive and ability to bring them to life
