& Summary Reporting to the Experience Design Lead, the Product Designer will work inside the PwC Products & Technology (P&T) organization to support the development and design of the firmaEUR(TM)s digital software products and solutions. This individual should be passionate about end-to-end, human-centred product design, self-motivated, and highly curious. As the successful candidate, you thrive in a fast-paced agile environment where you are designing for multiple products, supported by Senior Design and Product Management leaders, while working collaboratively with cross-functional team members, including developers, product managers, marketers and business stakeholders. YouaEUR(TM)re excited by distilling complex problems and use cases into intuitive, easy-to-use products and solutions. Attending and co-hosting workshops, designing journey maps, information architecture, wireframing, usability testing, user experience and user interface design are essential to this role.

You will meet with internal stakeholders and team members on a routine basis, applying UX techniques and developing solutions leveraging the latest in technology and balancing user and business goals.

As a Product Designer, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Product Designer will work alongside product managers, designers and business stakeholders to develop and design digital products and solutions, whilst adhering to existing brand guidelines and design system

Translate complex ideas into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and interface design for various stages and products within our portfolio

Design impactful and innovative experiences for users that align to defined UX strategies and are consistent with best practices in information architecture, interaction design, and established usability heuristics

Support usability testing sessions, design workshops and varying UX initiatives led by the Senior or Lead Experience designers

Effectively present design ideas and solutions to delivery teams

Gather user research data through interviews, usability testing, diary studies, card sorting and other standardized methods

The Product Designer will document and refine research findings into user personas, journey maps, service blueprints, affinity maps and user stories

Plan, execute, examine, and report on usability tests of your wireframes and designs, and refine accordingly, iterating with increased levels of fidelity until the solution has reached or exceeded its success targets

Help build an inclusive and trusted team culture founded in research, design, education and mentorship

The Product Designer will share new tools, design trends and industry best practices with design team members

Partner with Product Managers and collaborate with cross-functional team members, including sales, marketing, product management and development

Assist in the maintenance and development of the PwC Products & TechnologyaEUR(TM)s design system and Figma asset library

The Product Designer will present testing findings to relevant stakeholders

Experiences and skills youaEUR(TM)ll use to solve

Relevant work experience and training in the field of UX

Experience working in a product, business, consulting, or IT management capacity

Experience with industry standard tools and frameworks such as:
Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD; Zeplin or InVision; Mural, Miro or InVision Freehan; Asana, Azure DevOps or Jira; Agile or Scrum Software Development Methodology

Experience creating or is familiar with: User Persona; Experience/User Journey Mapping; Stakeholder and User Interview; Primary/Secondary User Research Methods; Wireframes; Low and Hi-Fi Prototyping; User Testing; UI Design

Bonus points if you have prior knowledge or experience with one or some of the following: Design Systems; UX Research; WCAG Accessibility 2.0 Guidelines; Machine Learning

Highly flexible and open-minded personality who embraces teamwork, but also enjoys working on their own

Exceptional communication, presentation and facilitation skills

Some experience with relationship management

Excellent written and oral communication skills

The ability to juggle multiple products over varying lifecycles (short, long, intermittent), and understanding how to prioritize accordingly

High level of innovation/creativity required

Human-centred design thinking mindset

Passion for ongoing personal development, keeping abreast of emerging technology and trends and showing an interest in the latest design trends

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
