The Opportunity
We're looking for a
Product Design Engineer
who thrives on turning complex ideas into real, manufacturable solutions.
At
KGI
, you'll take the lead in designing the next generation of heavy-duty axles -- products engineered for performance, built for precision, and aligned with our customers' toughest demands.
You'll collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure every design not only performs in the field, but also fits seamlessly into our Go-To-Market strategy.
If you're passionate about quality, thrive under pressure, and love seeing your designs make it to production -- you'll fit right in.
Why KGI
We're a
fast-growing, family-built manufacturer
trusted by the industry's toughest clients.
We combine world-class engineering with practical manufacturing expertise -- building products that perform under pressure and systems that scale as we grow.
Here, your ideas matter.
You'll work directly with decision-makers.
You'll see your designs move from CAD to production faster than you thought possible.
We move fast.
We value precision.
We build products that last.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing to align technical performance with pricing, positioning, and customer value.
Improve What Exists:
Strengthen current designs for reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs):
Solve real-world manufacturing issues quickly and accurately.
Who You Are
You're an experienced design engineer who takes pride in building products that work -- not just in CAD, but in the real world.
You've designed, tested, and released components that made it to production and stood the test of time.
You know the grind of iteration, the discipline of documentation, and the satisfaction of a clean, manufacturable design.
You move quickly but never cut corners.
You care about precision, but you don't hide behind perfection.
You take ownership, solve problems, and see projects through.
